Regarding: Action Day
Location: University College, Utrecht
Participants: Eline, Graziella, Jessica, Steffen and Wilco
Objective: Defining activity for action day (Met)
Outcomes:
We have decided that a good theme to approach is Discrimination, in general, because it is far reaching. Following that, we proceeded into examining the causes of discrimination and identified that most importantly a lack of awareness of each other is the root.
In order to overcome that we will have an activity where very different people can participate. We decided to promote a soccer game, in which 2 teams composed of different individuals from distinct social groups, religions, ethnicities and social classes will have to cooperate towards a common goal. A subsequent social activity would provide for a friendly atmosphere where people could get to know each other.

Venue: UC soccer field or municipality sports hall
Date: Tentatively 10th of June

Age of participants: Either 16 or 18 to 25
Follow up:
Jess: Will arrange for venue and moving bar
Eline: Will arrange for team uniforms, balls. Will contact Johan Kruyf Foundation (for participants). Will see about legal matter to define age of participants.
Wilco: Will arrange for publicity (local news channels, newspapers, radio), will make contacts for participants
Steffan: Will talk to contacts for participants. Will see about location for our next meeting. Will make a draft plan for the event day
Graziella: Will communicate of meeting to the organizing group. Will pass on this info to UNOY. Will communicate of the meeting to the rest of the training participants.
