International Student Week, Germany
The International Student Week in Ilmenau (www.iswi.org) is a student conference open to students of all faculties around the world. With over 350 participants it is the largest international student conference in Germany. The aim of ISWI is to overcome global differences through personal contacts and mutual understanding. ISWI is a meeting platform for young people with different cultural backgrounds, it is a place to get to know each other, to become friends and to discuss various points of view. At the conference, which was established in 1993, participants from over 60 countries around the world discuss topics of global interest and experience a broad cultural range.

ISWI also stands for the name of the organizing organization, Initiative solidarische Welt Ilmenau e. V. which is a student, non-governmental, non-profit organization which aims to: “be an initiative for a more peaceful world - to promote mutual understanding and respect”.

The organization ISWI is also member of the Network SORCE

....this is our current statistic of the applications for our "International Studentweek in Ilmenau".

We are now going through the voting process, because we have a lot more applications than places.

At the beginning of march we will send the invitations and we hope to see everybody in June!

it is only 3 days till the DEADLINE to apply for the International Student Week in Ilmenau, which takes place from 1st till 10th of June.

If you are interested in taking part in ISWI 2007, but did not apply yet, you have to hurry!
Please use our application form under www.iswi.org/apply

We have still free places so take your chance and apply till 15th february.

Till today we got applications from more than 100 countries.
