In the afternoon, all the members of the Climate Action Network meet to discuss our overall strategy. The Canadian Youth Climate Coalition is a member of the Climate Action Network in Canada, so PJ and I are able to attend these meetings. Everyone shares information about how the negotiations are going and fills people in about what they've learned. We also prepare for the next day, including the production of ECO, the CAN daily newsletter.

As the negotiations progress the meetings are getting increasingly exciting. The more that CAN-I knows about the parties positions, the better placed they are to plan how to have an effective impact. As someone new to the process, its really interesting to hear from people who have been a part of it since it began and can offer insight into the behaviour of the parties and possible tactics to effectively push for better policy.
