Creating an organizational profile on TakingITGlobal is the first step in making TakingITGlobal’s community of youth leaders aware of who you are, what you do, and how they can get involved in your work.
By adding your organization to TakingITGlobal’s organizational database you will be able to:
• Talk about who you are and what you do;
• Upload any resources and any publications that you may have;
• Share your photos and videos;
• Let people know about any up-coming job or volunteer opportunities;
• Create an organizational blog
Tip: For smaller youth-led organizations or organizations that are just getting started, creating an organizational profile can be really beneficial as it allows the organization to create an online presence for free!
Getting Started:
Step 1: Go to
the add an Organization Page on TakingITGlobal.
Step 2: After you have submitted your organization you will have to wait until your organization is approved by one of our staff members. When this is done you will receive an e-mail that will let you know that your organization has been successfully added to TakingITGlobal.
Step 3: The most important step in making the most of your profile on TakingITGlobal is having the ability to edit and add relevant resources. To do this you will need to become the administrator for your profile. To do this you will need to e- mail organizations@takingitglobal.org!
