How are you doing? All fine I hope.

We provided the 1st panel discussion on Feb 5/2010 for one day. There were 25 participants selected from 8 sub-cities of Hawassa town and they are in a position head of HIV prevent desk in their association.

In a panel discussion there was one paper presenter and the participant was fully participate in a discussion. The panel paper was focus on:

1. What is HIV/AIDS
2. The cause of distribution of HIV/AIDS
3. How to prevent HIV/AIDS
4. The image of HIV/AIDS in International, in Ethiopia and in our region
5. The impact of HIV/AIDS in psychological, social, economical and in development
6. Activities on to prevent HIV/AIDS and other issues was included.

The 2 main issue for the discussion were – How to avoid or eliminate the felling of dependency syndrome. This issue was needed because of in our country this is a major problem. Most people choose support/relief/ rather than work. The second issue was “ How can we make the youth who are living with HIV/AIDS entrepreneur. And many ideas was raised which is useful. We will provide the next panel discussion in this week until then “Good Luck ”
