intern

My on going internship with TIG as a researcher on globalization and media (food security, labour rights and languages) has intensely driven me into becoming more aware of these issues that affect our lives and our communities on a regular scale, especially in India, where the mentioned three topics identify themselves with the country’s drawbacks and richness.

The networking which takes place on a regular basis with members from across the globe is an absolute eye opener. There is much to learn and much to give from this experience. The methods of learning and contribution are distinct and fun.
I look forward to the call of action month, this August. Needless to say, certain things have been a little slow at this end due to unavoidable circumstances. The team members however have been very supportive and stimulating.
I look forward to closing my internship with a thumbs up!
