Darfur and migration crisis.
Related to country: Sudan

The esclation of the Darfur crisis has generated lots of forced migration in Africa. Today largely due to either omission or commission of our dear leaders today. They suddenly become passive and careless to the yearning and aspiration of Darfur children and women.
The querstion here is what kind of world do we have?
A world that ignores the crisis in Rwanda and we have paid dearly for it.
The populance continue to either migrate or become carried by event.
Indeed it give room to ponder on FORCED MIGRATION.....
Hundreds are still dying each day in Darfur from starvation, disease and violence. With fighting continuing between rebel forces and government troops, more and more people are being driven from their homes, joining the ranks of the 2.4 million already internally displaced and the 200,000 refugees in Chad. Government military attacks continue on black African farming communities and on IDP camps, supported by the Janjaweed militia. Women and girls continue to be raped searching for firewood outside the camps while those inside remain totally dependent on international aid.
António Guterres, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has described the situation in Sudan and Chad as “the largest and most complex humanitarian problem on the globe.”
Forced migration continues to be a serious, protracted, and in some areas, an expanding problem across Africa, particularly south of the Sahara. With over 13 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) in 19 countries, Africa remained the continent by far most affected by internal displacement in 2004.
"Over 50 percent of the world’s IDPs live in Africa. In Sudan alone, up to 6 million people are thought to be internally displaced, more than in any other country in the world. Sudan is also the country with the largest amount of people newly displaced in 2004 (about 1 million, mostly in Darfur). Other large-scale displacement crises in Africa included the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with 2.3 million IDPs and Uganda with up to 2 million IDPs".
Also according to United nation reports it says"There are estimated to be some 3.25 million African refugees and asylum seekers. The vast majority of these reside in other African countries. Very few leave their region of origin. Protracted refugee situations (people living in refugee camps or settlements for more than five years) continue to be a particular problem in the continent. They include: 280,000 Eritreans in Sudan; 300,000 Angolans.
