on the eve of the second World Summit of Information Society, TakingITGlobal is now organizing a National Information Society Youth Campaign in Ukriane in Association with the Information Society Ukraine fund (www.isu.org.ua) and a number of youth NGO's.

I am acting as a Focal Point for Youth Organizations in this Campaign and in this capacity have already suceeded to involve a number of reputed youth organizations - Foundation of Regional Initiatives (www.fri.net.ua), All-Ukrainian Association of Disabled Computer Users (www.aik.kiev.ua), and as well - UNFPA Ukraine and the independent media center for youth www.mediacenter.kiev.ua

Within the schedule of the campaign it is estimated that at least 2 Open Forums will be held with the Youth in two Ukrainian cities - Kyiv and Lviv or Ternopil.
Our plans are reallly ambitious and we are inclined to reach out to hundreds if not thousands of active youths directly, and many more inderectly via Media
.
I suggest , that Millennium Campaign should consider possibility to ship some Millennium Campaign Items (bands, leaflets) to Ukraine by September.
