Organized by the Association for Progressive Communication (APC) Women’s Networking Support Program [WNSP] in conjunction with IDRC, the GEM workshop of July 23 to 27 was a learning and experience-sharing encounter. The Hotel Maya workshop in Kuala Lumpur attracted practitioners from around the globe to discuss ways of how ICT initiatives could address gender issues and inequalities in the respective thematic adaptation areas.
