What to do in Québec City
Translated into English by: Justine Castonguay-Payant
Hi all,

My name is Justine, and I work for TakingITGlobal. I am the Quebec Youth Engagement Coordinator. The Congress is coming soon and all the organizers look forward to meeting the delegates! Several young people will be in Quebec City for the first time of their life, so I thought that it would be interesting to speak a little bit about the city.

As some of you know it, Quebec celebrates this year the 400th anniversary of its foundation, by Samuel de Champlain in 1608. For this occasion, many activities are offered almost all day long, such as free exhibitions, shows and more. For those interested to learn more about the magnificent city of Quebec or on things to do during your stay, please have a look at the Websites below.

Less than a Month!
About this event: 4th World Youth Congress - Quebec City 2008

Can you believe it is less than a month to go! It is hard to believe! I know that many of you are extremely excited to attend this edition of WYC and I am still looking forward to meeting you all in Quebec City in August! I know, though, that many of you are going to be unable to attend the Congress in-person unfortunately. However, if you will not be able to physically attend the conference you will still be able to participate. TakingITGlobal is putting together a Virtual Congress platform for the Congress. Through this platform you will be able to blog, share your thoughts, watch the opening ceremony and selected workshops, and much more! Stay tuned the Virtual Congress will launch shortly and I can't wait to share it with all of you!
